I have had my elong for about a year now. He waits til no one is watching to eat and tries to hide anytime there is someone in the room. Was hoping for more aggression out if him. On the good side it is a very healthy fish and eats both live feeders as well as silversides.

Got my fish the day before Thanksgiving,arrived healthy he eats like a champ and is starting to come out of his shell,loves to cruise my 125 gal tank.This is my favorite Serra that i have ordered so far from Pedro and believe me there have been many !!!Loves smelt and raw shrimp.

I bought my elongatus from aquascape a little about a year ago, and it's a finger-chasin machine. not only that, it owns my bedroom now, everytime i walk in the room it swims to that side of the tank and aggressively flutters its fins and chomps it's teeth. it also tears any live fish apart upon introduction. I want another piranha from aquascape soooo bad!!!

Another great transaction. This elongatus is very aggressive. It took down a feeder just seconds after being introduced to his tank! Much more aggressive than my black rhomb. Expensive shipping though. Thanks.

This fish is so BAD A$$!!! Bought him off Pedro about a year and a half ago and he has really taken to the tank. Took a little bit but he finally came around. Thanks Pedro.

my newest Elongatus

My newest Elongatus is so so... My other elongatus was more aggressive and looked different. I ordered black mask elongatus piranhas both times but I think they slipped a all silver one on me this second time around. Hard to reach aquascape on the phone. Haven't got them to answer in like a week. lol anywayz, my first elongatus was better so if u order this fish try to get a black mask one becuz in my opinion they are a lil meaner and look better. This all silver one u can see through the front of his face and it has been getting beat up by a 1 inch convict cichlid. I put the 2 1/2 inch silver elongatus in there with him 2 days ago and the elongatus's tail is half ate off. lol I wish I still had my black mask one but oh well I guess. They got over on me the 2nd order by sending me the wrong fish but that's what I get by ordering online instead of over the phone like with my first order. My advise to whoever wants to order this fish is to try to reach them by phone if possible. Nice people, I spoke with them with my first order, but just not to satisfied with my online order. However... the fish they send do arrive in good health.

Thanks Pedro, Kathy & Bong....Great packaging job. He arrived in excellent condition and is doing well in his new home, Ph 6.4 temp 78 and no issues with cloudy water or ammonia spikes.Thanks again aquascape.
