Ctenopoma III
Joe - Fairfax, Virginia (Friday, December 1, 2006)
I've had my ctenopoma for over 7 months. Since then it has grown from 1.5 to 4 inches. In that time I have witnessed my staple fish destroy 10 feeders( over 4 hours) every few days. He is friendly and gets along with other fish he doesn't assume is a meal. I have a 65 with gold severums and a few gouramis and a blue moon crab living with my ctenompoma. I complete recommend him for others.

Ctenopoma
Sharon - Lafayette, Louisiana (Thursday, December 29, 2005)
I have 4 of these fish in a 55 gal with a few tiger barbs, rosy barbs, and some pictus cats. These fish are great, easy to keep and sociable when I go up to the tank. They eat the tetra crisps or flakes and have survived my serious neglect of my tank after I had lower back surgery. I had some clown loaches in the tank also, but they died.
There has been no fish fighting and despite what I'd read about these fish being territorial, they don't go picking or chasing the other fish.
My 4 are about 2 years old now and they are all about 4 inches long.

Ctenopoma Acutirostre 2
Amber - Cleveland, Texas (Friday, December 23, 2005)
This fish is great to own. I have one, and it is the sweetest fish in my whole tank. This fish is NOT for people looking for a new fish to start a new tank with though.
