Red Fin

I have had my red fin pleco for 1 1/2 years now(about 10'' in size). It is in a 50 gallon aquarium with several adult African cichlids and two other exotic plecos. By far my favorite fish in the tank, I've noticed the red fin pleco is a hearty algae eater when not on hard wood or eating it's carnivore/algae pellets. I have not scraped or even seen any algaes inside my tank since I purchased this fish and he is often seen 'cleaning' the glass. I recomend this fish for anyone who is secure in their fish keeping ablities and wants a cool looking active cleaning pleco that grows to a decent size but isn't a two foot monster.
