<p>I love this Fish this is my third one...I brought 6 fish in total..My Wolf was 4in and the others were around the same size. (2 Jaguars)(2 Buttikoferi)and 1 Placo 3 days later I had 2 left the wolf and the Placo lol....my wife said what a waste of money but I say survival of the fittest...I need one more in my life</p>

You can get a permit for restricted species from the Department of fish and game...it's a hassle, but we'll worth it to own one of these unique fish.

You get something that doesn't have fear in it's eyes...nice.Just got mine today, stuffs himself like a cat fish, I thought he was going to rupture his stomach. It took an hour or so for him to fight back against my baby Oscar...but when he did, my exceptionally aggressive oscar that had laid waste to everything in the tank was dumbfounded. These fish have real intent to do harm, and the teeth to prove it. The Oscar, the Alligator Gar, and the Common wolf fish give each other space...for now. I'll be shopping here again for sure.

I bought this fish about 5 months ago, arrived alive and healthy. Unfortunately he just died today, he jumped out of the tank, without my knowledge and dried up on the carpet... These are great fish, they don't do much but sit at the bottom of the tank all day until night. This is a word to everyone that is interested in buying this fish. They do like to jump out of the water so make sure that your tank is 100% covered on the top and even weighted down.
