Black Ghost Knife 2"-3" (Apteronotus albifrons)

The Black Ghost Knife originates in the Amazon River. Apteronotus albifrons can reach sizes of almost 2 feet. Much like other knifefish, the Black ghost is nocturnal, so dim lights on the aquarium and plenty of places to hide. The Ghost knifefish will eat a variety of foods, live worms and brine shrimp seem to be its ideal food. The Black Ghost knife is a great monster pet. The Ghost Knife is known to have great interaction with the owner.
